Title: Luckiest Reality
Author: Misty Rhodes
Release Date: 5th November 2017
Farrah Davis felt like she was living her fairy tale when she would appear on a reality television dating show and marry the most loved bachelor in the country. The magazines were covered in headlines that called her “the luckiest” and she genuinely felt that way. It looked like her star was rising and all of her dreams were coming true including finding love, but years later she would find herself moving to a quiet, one stop light southern town and hiding from everyone including herself. She would soon learn what the restoration of the Marryn’ Gazebo meant to this small town and her luck would change when she would the “Impossible Man” who lived in a run-down, major fixer upper cottage across the lake from her. He would change the way she feels about love and life. Soon, Farrah would realize that this small, unknown town far from the lights and cameras that used to follow her, would show her that her luckiest reality was right in front of her.
I’m truly glad that I read this book! It made a pleasant change from the heavy, erotic novels I’ve been reading of late! Luckiest Reality is such a romantic fairy-tale I loved it! There aren’t any X Rated scenes in this novel which I think made the romance harder to convey. We know that the characters are intimate but Misty Rhodes has managed to convey their feelings through words rather than actions!🖤
This was a quick read, but it was such a nice story! I felt so sorry for Farrah as soon as I read her past story, that I had to continue reading to make sure she got her happily ever after. What she didn’t count on was meeting an older guy, an Irritating Man, who would inevitable turn her world upside down – in a good way!
I don’t like giving too much away in my reviews obviously!! But this story is different from a lot of other romance books available. Luckiest Reality is based around some life experiences that we can relate to, so we are able to connect with the characters. However, I think I enjoyed this book more due to it’s concentration on a couple finding love a little later in life. They aren’t a young, hip couple like a lot of romance books, but rather two people who have experienced life and have now come together.✨
Farrah’s past experiences make her shy away a lot, but will Jake encourage her to step out of her shell?
I did feel like there could have been more to the story that what there is, but as a short story it is wonderful! I felt like it was slightly rushed in some places and a few more scenes here and there would have made it even better.✨
If you like short reads, truly romantic fairy tales then I would definitely recommend this book to you!🖤
